Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Kochi and Drive to Munnar (130 kms / approx. 4 hours)

Arrive at Kochi Airport and proceed for Munnar. Visit to Abhayaranyam, a place where rehabilitating elephants are taken care. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 2

Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower Garden. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3

Munnar – Thekkady (95 kms / 3 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar). Post check-in, proceed for sightseeing tour of Periyar. Set high in the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala, is the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters. Later, take a spice plantation tour. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 4

Thekkady – Kumarakom (120 kms / 3.5 hours)

After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom - a charming peninsula jutting into the picturesque Vembanad Lake. Overnight at Kumarakom.

Day 5

Kumarakom – Alleppey (35 kms / 1 hours)

After breakfast drive to Alleppey. On arrival check-in at the houseboat.
Overnight stay in Houseboat

Activities : House Boat
Day 6

Alleppey – Departure from Kochi (55 kms / 1.5 hours)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kochi airport for a return flight back home.

Medium vehicle will be provided for 1-3 travellers and Innova Crysta will be provided for 4 travellers
Monument Closure days:
Munnar - Eravikulam National Park will be closed in the month of February & March
Munnar - Tata Tea Museum will be closed on Monday
Abhayaranyam – will be closed on Monday
Alleppey Houseboat Check in time: 12.30 pm, Check-out time: 9.30 am
Rooms in Munnar and Thekkady will be Non-AC
Visit to Periyar Boating; private vehicles / taxi are not allowed. Guest have to use the vehicle from forest department for the transfers.
Package cost will not be valid from 20th December – 10th January.
Peak Period surcharge will be applicable for booking on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions and long weekends. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of booking.
State reserves right to close any tourist place if found necessary without prior notice.
This package is valid from 01st October to 31st March (Except from 20th December – 10th January).
