Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar

  Welcome to your 'Kashmir Anubhav' tour! Arrive into Srinagar Airport and you will be transferred to your houseboat. The day is at leisure. In the evening enjoy a romantic Shikara Ride on the famous Dal Lake.
  
  Overnight stay at Srinagar.

• Day 2 : In Srinagar * Day Excursion to Sonmarg (90 kms / approx. 3 hour drive) (subject to weather condition

  Today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque 'meadow of gold', Sonmarg. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. Have lunch in the local restaurant. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (on direct payment basis). Return to Srinagar to your houseboat in the evening. (B, EL, D).
  
  Overnight stay at Srinagar.

• Day 3 : In Srinagar - Local sightseeing

  This morning after breakfast check out from houseboat. Transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Later proceed for Shankaracharya Temple. After lunch, proceed to visit the famous Mughal Gardens - Chasmashahi, Nishad and Shalimar. These gardens were where Mughal emperors once relaxed with their exquisite queens. You can, on own, visit the local handicrafts shops from where you can purchase shawls, carpets, paper Mache gift items and much more.
  
  Overnight stay at Srinagar.

  • Hotspots : Shankaracharya Temple

• Day 4 : In Srinagar * Day Excursion to Gulmarg (52 kms / approx. 2 hour drive)

  This morning proceed to Gulmarg driving past willow trees, fast flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the 'meadow of flowers' is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Have lunch in the local restaurant. Stroll leisurely or take pony rides (on direct payment) across the green meadow to one of the world's highest Golf Course. Enjoy a fun-filled ride in the newly introduced Gondola Lift (on direct payment basis). Return to your houseboat in Srinagar in the evening. (B, EL, D).
  
  Overnight stay at Srinagar.

• Day 5 : In Srinagar * Day Excursion to Pahalgam (87 kms / approx. 3 1/2 hour drive)

  Today depart for Pahalgam the 'valley of shepherds' which is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheshnag Lake. En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. Have lunch in the local restaurant. Excursion to Aru Valley by local vehicle in Pahalgam. Return to Srinagar to your hotel in the evening.
  
  Overnight stay at Srinagar.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 6 : Depart Srinagar * Return home with happy memories

  Today bid farewell to your 'Kashmir Anubhav' Tour, as you are transferred to Srinagar Airport to connect to your flight back home.
