Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Srinagar- Arrival

Once you arrive at the Srinagar railway station or airport, you are going to get an assisted transfer to the hotel/Houseboat/Hotel. Srinagar, lying on the bank of river Jhelum, is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Spend the day in doing the activities of your interest. Visit the floating market or the local bazaar. You can shop for popular items such as Shawls, Saffron, fruits, honey and dry fruits. Overnight stay.
Day 2

Srinagar (sightseeing)

Dal Lake

After a sumptuous breakfast, leave for sightseeing, covering the major attractions of Srinagar such as Shalimar Bagh -the Abode of Love, Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh- the Garden of pleasure and Chashmi-e Shahi the Royal Spring. Later in the day, enjoy a Shikara ride on the popular Dal Lake, a major tourist attraction. Take a leisure walk admiring the beauty. Overnight stay.
Day 3

Srinagar – Sonamarg (around 67 Kms) - Srinagar

Have your breakfast, leave for a day-trip to Sonamarg, referred to as the ‘Meadow of Gold’. The journey is going to be an extremely mesmerizing one. It is situated at a height of 2690 meters on the bank of Nallah Sindh. The day is at leisure. Indulge in a nature walk, ride on a pony ride up to Thajiwas Glacier, perennial glacier where the snow remains round the year. Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.
Day 4

Srinagar - Departure

Have your breakfast and get transported to the airport or railway station to begin your journey for the onward destination.
