Kashmir to Ladakh Road Trip - 11 Nights 12 Days Tour

Meeting upon arrival at Srinagar Airport and transfer with assistance to Hotel/Houseboat, after fresh-up start the scenic view of mountain ranges around Dal Lake ,visit to famous Mughal gardens Chashma shahi , Nishat (gardens of pleasure), Shalimar (abode love) collectively known as the Mughal gardens are contribution of the great Mughals laid out in the 16th century and these fall along the bank of Dal-lake in the heart of Srinagar city and Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing Panoramic view of entire city, along with famous Dal-lake and river Jhelum, en-route visiting handloom center famous for production of pashmina /Suite shawls and world over reckoned carpets, Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay at Srinagar.

Breakfast at hotel, later Depart from Srinagar as per road opening timings & Spend some time at leisure in Sonmarg (2740 Mtrs). After Sonamarg, Continue drive towards Drass & visit Kargil War Memorial. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil. Over Night at Kargil.

Breakfast at hotel, later proceed to Leh by road 230kms. En-route visiting the monastery of Mulbekh & Lamayuru. Visit Indus Confluence, Magentic Hill & Gurdwara Patthar Sahib before Reaching leh. Overnight stay at Leh.

Breakfast at hotel, A relaxed day exploring Leh town, will include visits to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace, Hall of Fame, Sindhu Ghat & leh Market in the Evening. Overnight stay at Leh.

After breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardong Pass (highest motorable road in the world, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and Camel Safari in Sand Dunes (Own arrangement). Overnight in Nubra.

Breakfast at hotel, later drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place captured by Indians in the war of 1972 with Pakistan, en-route visit Tyakshi (it is the border which divides India and Pakistan). Overnight in Nubra.

After breakfast, drive back to leh via Khardungla pass. Overnight in Leh.

After an early breakfast, visit sightseeing places like Shey, Thiksey, Hemis Monasteries and Sindhu Ghat and then proceed to Pangong Lake (14,500ft), through Chang la Pass 17,350 ft., It is the third highest motorable road in the world (320 Kms.) round trip. Visit the Spots where the Famous Bollywood movie “3 Idiots” was Shot. More Recently “Jab Tak hai Jaan” was also shot. Overnite in Pangong.

After breakfast, travel back to Leh. En route take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. Overnight stay in Leh.

Transfer to the airport to catch the early morning flight back to New Delhi. Make sure you reach the airport early to get the window seat to enjoy the landscape of Ladakh as you return.

Day 10: Leh – Tanglang La – Lachulung La – Sarchu (Distance: 109km/81km/54km–244km; Travel Time: 6-7 hrs;)
After an early breakfast we check out from the hotel and drive to Sarchu. Overnite in Sarchu.

Today we start our journey to Manali via Baralacha Pass (4890m), Keylong (3350 m) & Rohtang Pass (3978 m) Overnight stay at Manali.
