Kedarkantha situated in the Garhwal Himalayas, Uttrakhand.For the nature admirers, it’s the best place to visit. The area is complementedwith unsurpassed beauty, quaint hamlets, green meadows, snow paths and amazingsights of the rising Himalayan peaks. Close to Har Ki Dun this place is lesservisited. Uttarakhand is imbued with nature’s aura that offers a landscapedotted with serene rivers, groovy lakes and exceeding peaks. To catch anexclusive glance of flora & fauna in Himalayas one must pass through thesnaking trail to the 3,850m tall summit goes through Govind National Park. Withviews of peaks like the Swargarohini, Banderpooch, Black, and Ranglana, thehighlight of the trail is undoubtedly sunsets against the backdrop ofimpressive snow-capped mountains.
Day 1 : Dehradun - Sankri
It starts with the amazing twisting squirrel like driving, with the most scenic sights of the Garhwal as you pass through exotic locales of Mussoorie, Barkot to finally arrive at the last motorable village Sankri, 13km inside Govind National Park. Twilight home stay in the quaint village. Reporting venue is Dehradun Railway station at 8 AM and you will be notified with details of cab a day before your trek start day..! 185 Km drive from Dehradun The cab will be arranged at an additional cost from Dehradun to Sankri and drop you back from Sankri. This will cost approx. Rs. 5,500/- one way per 5-6 seat vehicle. You will have to share this value with the other trekkers.
Day 2 : Trek From Sankri To Juda Ka Taalab ( 9,000ft)
Remote Lake, Pond, Pine and Oak Trees, Himalayan Backdrop. Trekking from village Sankri towards Juda ka Talaab after having a wholesome nutritious breakfast and some training for the trek. This remote lake tucked away in the grandeur of the snow-capped mountains is the ideal place to camp for the ever-changing scenes bring alive the natural kaleidoscope with every change in light. Gaze at stars and enjoy the twilight camping site
Day 3 : Trek From Juda Ka Talaab To Kedarkantha Base (9,000ft)
Green Pastures, Wild flora, Undulating Meadows, Snow-capped Mountains, Forest Trek. Next day starts with an aim to reach at the base camp of Kedarkantha peak. It’s the most enthralling trail with finest stretches and leaves us behind with unforgettable experiences. Trek through forest heavily occupied by pine and oak trees that give these mountains its distinct charm. Arrive at an open meadow at the summit’s base, set up camp for the night and good night!
Day 4 : Trek To Kedarkantha Summit And Descend To Hargaon/ Base Camp (9,000ft)
Gangotri and Yamunotri Ranges, Ascending and Descending Trek. It’s going to be a long day so healthy breakfast is a must. We shall be ascending to the Kedarkantha peak (3,850m). The climb is steep but worthwhile and one with rewarding views. Lunch will be against a stunning backdrop of the Gangotri and Yamunotri ranges. Then our descending trekking will be started towards Hargaon and the twilight camping will be there.
Day 5 : Trek From Hargaon/Base Camp Back To Sankri (9,000ft)
It’s time to backpack to Sankri, along with where open views of meadows of beautiful Har ki Dun Valley accompany us. And finally stay at Sankri in Twilight Camping.
Day 6 : Drive From Sankri To Dehradun
Here falls the ending of our mesmerizing Kedarkantha trekking. As we travel on the same path from Sankri to Dehradun, the excitement at the start of the journey finds a way to settle down with unforgettable moments to cherish & experiences worth recollecting.

Payment Terms & Methods :
Trekking such long distances in high altitudes requires a lot of energy. Our cooks on the trek provide you with as nutritious food as possible. But it should be remembered that a lot of ingredients need to be carried on such high altitudes and it is only human to forget something. We request our members to keep an open mind and enjoy the best of what we can provide.
Cancellation & Refund Policy :
Let’s look at few food habits you need to follow while trekking:-
Breakfast is the first meal of the day before the beginning of the trek. Complex carbs break down and release energy slowly. This keeps providing you with a constant source of energy throughout the day.
Drink at least 4-5 litres of water daily. (mix ORS in water which will maintain the water level)
Granola Bars for post-lunch fatigue. (Optional) Trail mixes and granola bars of nuts and whole grains can be used to tackle post lunch fatigue which usually happens 2-3 hours after lunch. They are a good source of carbohydrates and vitamins.
Electrolytes for re hydration.
Towards the end of the trek, the body becomes dehydrated and depleted of salts and ions through sweating. Electrolytes like ORS should be consumed mixed with water to recharge the body.
Carry multivitamin tablets for complications arising due to vitamin deficiency.(optional)
Consume hot liquids at night to keep your body warm. (We provide soup at bed time at times )
Strictly Avoid alcohol ,It's prohibited during trek .If we found any banned drugs ,You will sending back instantly and we have rights to file a complain for the same .
It is a common myth that alcohol keeps you warm in cold climate,Please avoid it .It makes you susceptible to hypothermia, makes your breathing shallow and accelerates altitude
Avoid non-vegetarian food.Non-vegetarian food should be avoided as proteins take a lot of time to digest in high altitudes and cause various gastrointestinal complications. Eggs can be consumed in small quantities. (we do provide boiled eggs at times)
Drinking water is not readily available in hills and hence the trekkers are advised to use water wisely and fill their water bottle every time when crossing or walking nearby the river or water springs .
