It stands tall as one of the famous pilgrimage destinations where thousands of
tourists and pilgrims come every year to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. One
can also visit the Bhairav Temple, the fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva, nestled
south of the Kedarnath Temple, approximately one kilometre uphill. The scenic
views on the way to the Kedarnath Temple will make you spellbound and the
divinity that roams in the air will make your every second worthwhile.
Day 1 : Haridwar

If Check in earlier in Haridwar Hotel than the Sightseen of Haridwar like
Ganga Arti at Hari ki Pauri.

Day 2 : Haridwar - Guptkashi | Witness the temples and ghats along holy Ganga as you travel from Haridwar to Guptkashi
Meet our driver at Haridwar morning and drive to Guptkashi via
Rudraprayag & Devprayag. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Ganga
and Alaknanda River till Rudraprayag.
The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to
reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar (Vishwanath) Temple in Guptakashi
Guptakashi: - The name Gupt Kashi means “Hidden Benares. Mythology
describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of
Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled from them
further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their
wish fulfilled.
There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (priests)
live in Guptkashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple
closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Guptkashi on
its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.
Guptkashi Weather – pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-
30 degree Celsius. Cold in winters.

Day 3 : Guptkashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath | Trail to Pristine Abode of Lord Shiva amid the Unparalleled Beauty of the Himalayas
Morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund, start your trek from Gaurikund
to Kedarnath (by Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost).
Visit Kedarnath Temple.
Treking Route:If you are go by trek for Kedarnath then our car will drop
you at Sonprayag.
You have to hire local jeep for Gaurikund then your trek will start for
kedarnath ji 17 km one way. Same as when you return.
Kedarnath:- The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva,
is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath
range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva.
According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in
the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and
sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption.
He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in
the form of a bull.
On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the
surface.
The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are
worshipped there as his manifestations.
The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar.
Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch
Kedar.

Day 4 : Kedarnath / Guptkashi (17kms Trek one way & 20kms by road)
Morning after breakfast, start your trek from Kedarnath to Gaurikund (by
Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost).
After reaching at Gaurikund a share taxi will drop you Sonprayag where
you vehicle is ready to drop at Hotel Guptkashi.
Overnight stay at Guptakashi.
Meals: - Breakfast and Dinner
Day 5 : Guptkashi - Chopta Enjoying the beautiful scenery at Chopta and spending cozy time in the lapse of landscapes
After having morning breakfast you can proceed with your trek towards
Tungnath.
After enjoying the beautiful scenery at Chopta and spending cozy time in
the lapse of landscapes, Tungnath will offer you some spirituality and
peace.
This hike will lead you to the holy temple named as Tungnath temple.
Enjoy one of the most breathtaking and beautiful vistas in the Kedar,
Chaukhamba and other peaks in the vicinity.
Though in this area, you may also get to see a few rare species of eagles.
You can also see the amazing forests around the temple and also the peak of
Bandarpoonch as well. On both the sides of Chopta you can see green
slopes and feel the cool breeze.
You can have a tea break while trekking and rest on the bulky stone shaped
dining tables in between the path while returning to Chopta

Day 6 : Haridwar visit Har Ki Pauri For Evening Ganga Aarti

After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive for next destination
On the way to Haridwar you can see En-route Srinagar, Dev Prayag,
Rishikesh holds great religious importance also, the town features stunning
natural beauty and tranquility.
After Reaching Haridwar visit Har Ki Pauri For Evening Ganga Aarti.

Day 7 : Departure for Guptkashi - Haridwar | Board a Train or flight.
After having breakfast in the hotel, check out and travel back to
Haridwar.
As you reach, get dropped off at the Haridwar Station or AirPort.
Board a Train or flight and take back a bag full of memories
