Acclimatization day at or around Horombo Hut to adjust to altitude. Activities include rest, short acclimatization hikes, and preparation for higher altitude sections of the climb. Meals and mountain crew support continue to be provided. This day is important for reducing altitude sickness risk.

Trek from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut as you progress higher on the Marangu route. This is a key approach to the summit sector and includes mountain terrain changes, with support from mountain crew and included meals. Overnight at Kibo Hut to prepare for the summit push.

Summit push from Kibo Hut with an early morning start, aiming for the summit, followed by descent back to Horombo Hut. This is the most demanding day with a long ascent and return descent; mountain crew support, park fees and rescue fees are included.
