The name “Spiti” means “The Middle Land”, i.e. the land between Tibet and India. On arrival at Shimla airport / railway station from there you will meet and assist by our tour representative and starts drive to the winter home of Lord Shiva. Don’t miss the fantastic sunset at Kalpa. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kalpa.

KALPA – NAKO – TABO (10,000 feet)
After breakfast in the morning you will drive on the Hindustan – Tibet Highway, towards Tabo. Nako – originally known as ‘Kyangoh’ or ‘Gateway to the Holy Place’, we later drive to Tabo – home to the famous Tabo Monastry. Overnight at a homestay in Tabo.

TABO to PIN VALLEY to MUDH VILLAGE – KAZA (12,450 feet)
Today morning after breakfast drive to Imagine a national park with an abundance of animals and birds, with some rare plant varieties, a river that gushes when it isn’t frozen and trekking opportunities for the adventure- seekers. We return to Kaza in the evening. Overnight at a homestay in Kaza.

KAZA – KI MONASTERY – KIBBER – KAZA (13,800 feet)
Today morning after breakfast We hit the road again for a short drive today. Today, we visit the world famous Ki Monastery. Then we will move to the picturesque village of Kibber. Kibber village is located at a height of 4205 metres and 18 km from Kaza, in the evening return to Kaza. Overnight stay at Kaza.

KAZA – KOMIC – LANGZA – KAZA (14,800 feet)
Today, we drive to some of the highest inhabited regions of the world. Once you are here, you can walk about the village and visit the ancient Lang (Temple) which is estimated to be around 1000 years old. We return to Kaza in the evening. Overnight at a homestay in Kaza.

KAZA – KALPA (9711 feet)
Today, we retrace our steps on the Hindustan – Tibet Highway and start driving towards the apple-orchard dotted town of Kalpa.A winding road about 7 km above Rekong Peo brings you to this gem of a little village where modernity is only just beginning to make an appearance. Overnight at a hotel in Kalpa.
