Kuari Pass Trek Tour

You will be welcomed by Indian Summits representative. Followed by a drive of 260km across Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag. This should take about 9-10hrs and should reach Joshimath at around 18:00hrs. Joshimath is a hub for pilgrim tourists traveling to Badrinath and Hemkund Sahib. After having a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel. We shall start off the day with a drive to Dhak village which is 12km away from the hotel. Kuari pass trek starts this location, trekking is through hemlock, oak and rhododendron forests for about 3km to Tugasi village(8,052ft), follows an ascend for about 2 km to Gulling village (9,012ft), then follows a decent of about 0.5 km i.e. into meadows where the campsite awaits for you at the Chitra Khantha(9,600ft). You can gaze at the snow-capped ridge including the Chaukhamba 1(7,138m), Dronagiri(7,066m), Gori Parvat(6,708m), Hathi Parvat(6,727m). Water can be replenished from the small spring line at the head of the meadow. After an exhausting first day trek, enjoy dinner at the campsite. Night in the tent.

We shall kick start our day with a few expert guidance from our trek leader, few exercises, followed by energy packed breakfast. Trek lead will be briefing about the plan of action for the day. Trek to Tali top is through fresh green vegetation and red rhododendron flowers. Forest hut(9,920ft) which is 1km away from Chitra khantha is the last water point so make sure you got your'e water bottles filled. Followed by a steep hike through the forested ridge of Rhododendron, Spruce and Silver Birch. The ridge top takes around 60min and then follows a 30 min trek which opens up into a meadow where it meets Tapovan. Spend the evening admiring the beauty of nature. Peaks visible are Nanda Devi(7,816m), Dronagiri(7,066m), Hathi Parvat(6,727m), Gori Parvat(6,708m). Night in the tent.

Since today is the longest day and the toughest day on the Kuari pass trek, we shall kick start our a day early. Trek leader will start off the day with the daily briefing, after the breakfast. Pack enough water for the day as their are no water sources. Today's trek starts off with a moderate ascent for about 3.5km to Khullara top(11,780ft), follows a traverse walk of about 2.5km to a broken bridge(12,280ft), and then traversing through the snow patch we reach Kuari top(12,920ft). Top winds will gush past you at the Kuari Pass. Rejoice with the accomplishment of the summit and experience rush where the silence dominates every sound other than your'e foot steps and heart beat. Peaks visible Neelkantha(6,576m), Kamet(7,756m), Kedarnath(6,968m), Nanda Devi(7,816m), Dronagiri(7,066m), Hathi Parvat(6,727m), Gori Parvat(6,708m). Trek back to Tali top, for dinner and bonfire at the campsite. Night in the tent.

Following breakfast at the Tali top(11,520ft) is downhill trek to gorgeous Tali lake(11,140ft) which is easy 1km trek. Then follows trek to Gurson Bugyal(meadows; 11,150ft) which is 3.5km trek, follows another 3.5km trek to the road beside Rishi Ganga River where is the taxi is waiting to drive you back to Joshimath(6,960ft). Dinner and de-briefing at the hotel Night at the hotel.
