Arrival at Guwahati Airport /Guwahati Railway Station and Ma kamakhya temple and after that take breakfast proceed to Shillong. En-route visit: Borapani Umiam Lake, Located about 17 km from Shillong, Umium Lake, surrounded by beautiful hills and a picturesque location is highly refreshing. It has water-sports facilities and the nearby Nehru Park has an Aviary and Orchidarium. Arrive at Shillong and check-in at the hotel. Evening if time permits visit the local market (Police Bazar). overnight at Shillong.

After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Cherrapunji 56 Km, En-route visit elephant falls, later the wettest place on the earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limetone caves & Orange honey. Watch the Noh-Kalikai Falls, Noh-Sngithiang Falls, Seven sister fall & also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Arwa Cave, Thangkharang Park and return back to your hotel in Cherrapunjee.

The excursion from Cherrapunjee to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge is one of the most thrilling and scenic experiences in Meghalaya. After an early breakfast, drive to Tyrna village, the starting point of the trek. From here, begin your descent through a series of steep steps (approximately 3,000+ steps) surrounded by dense forests, waterfalls, and natural beauty. On the way, you will cross hanging bridges and small streams before reaching Nongriat village, where the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge is located—an incredible natural wonder formed by intertwining roots of rubber trees over decades. You can also visit the nearby Rainbow Falls (optional, further trek) for a refreshing experience. Spend some time enjoying the serene surroundings before trekking back to Tyrna (same route) and returning to Cherrapunjee by evening. This excursion requires good physical fitness due to the steep climb back, but the breathtaking views and unique experience make it truly unforgettable.

After breakfast, check out from Mawlynnong, famously known as Asia’s cleanest village, and proceed towards Dawki. Upon arrival, visit the crystal-clear Umngot River, where you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride (at your own cost) and witness the riverbed visible through the transparent water. You can also explore the nearby Indo-Bangladesh border for a quick visit and some memorable photos. After spending quality time in Dawki, continue your journey towards Shillong, the charming capital city of Meghalaya. En route, enjoy the scenic drive through rolling hills, waterfalls, and lush landscapes. Upon arrival in Shillong, check in to your hotel and relax after a day full of beautiful sightseeing and travel experiences.

After breakfast, check out from Shillong and proceed towards Guwahati. En route, visit the beautiful Umiam Lake, a scenic reservoir surrounded by lush hills, perfect for photography and relaxation. You can spend some peaceful time enjoying the lake views before continuing your journey. Upon arrival in Guwahati, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peeths in India, known for its spiritual significance and hilltop location offering panoramic views of the city. If time permits, you may also explore local markets for shopping. Later, you will be dropped at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey, marking the end of a memorable trip.
