Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Drive from Moshi or Arusha to Londorossi Gate (about 2–3 hours).

Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Ascend to Barafu Camp (4,673 meters or 15,331 feet), the final base camp before the summit.

Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, then to Mweka Camp
Early morning start for the summit attempt
Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters or 19,341 feet), the highest point in Africa.
Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest.
Continue the descent to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters or 10,170 feet).
