SNORKELING - Mnemba Kichwani Coral Reef;

After heading with your dhow to the stunning Mnemba Atoll and with every possibility of dolphins on the way, you will stop at Mnemba Kichwani Reef for your first snorkeling stop. This amazing reef, with steep slopes offers some great underwater topography and a chance to see amazing corals and a lot of fish. Snorkeling session is roughly 45-60 Minutes. A snorkel guide is of course also in the water, pointing out all of the little camouflage and the tricks most people’s eyes miss.

SNORKELING – Mnemba Coral Gardens ;

After a 20 minute boat journey from Kitchwani Reef you will arrive at the Mnemba Coral Gardens. Here you will snorkel for 45 minutes to 1 hour. These coral gardens are home to many species of aquarium fish and stunning soft and hard corals.

LUNCH – Mouth-watering BBQ at Muyuni Beach;

After your second snorkeling trip you are heading from Mnemba Atoll to the opposite side, an area called Muyuni Beach. Here you can enjoy your lunch with fruit and drinks, and a mouth-watering seafood and mixed grill BBQ. You will have enough time after your lunch to relax on this beautiful secluded beach before your trip continues with a sail back to Kendwa.

SPECIAL INFORMATION;

- Please pack sunscreen and a hat for your boat excursion , as you are out in the sun
- Please bring a towel and your swimwear, as you get the possibility to swim and snorkel during the trip
- Please do not purchase any large shells or coral from local vendors as it promotes the destruction of our fragile marine ecosystem
- It is advised to wear shoes that are easy to slip in and out and that don’t get damaged by water
- Be aware of sea urchins when standing barefoot at the beach (they are not dangerous but can be painful)
