06:00 – 07:00:

Pick-up from Moshi or Arusha

Drive to Marangu Gate (1,860m) – ~2 hours from Arusha / 1 hour from Moshi

Register at Kilimanjaro National Park office

08:30 – 09:00:

Meet your mountain guide and begin the trek

Hike through lush rainforest filled with birds, monkeys, and exotic plants

Learn about Kilimanjaro's ecosystem and trekking routes from your guide

12:30 – 13:00:

Reach Mandara Hut (2,700m) – first stop on the full Marangu Route

Rest, explore the surroundings, and enjoy picnic lunch

Optional short hike to Maundi Crater for views of Kenya and the mountain slopes (weather permitting)

13:30 – 16:00:

Begin descent back to Marangu Gate

Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha
