It is encompassed by three Himalayan ranges namely, Dhauladhar range, Pir Panjal range, and Nag Tibba range. The lower Garhwal region amasses this beautiful trekking location. It is an amazing weekend getaway destination from where you can have the glimpses of Bandarpoonch peak, Kedarnath peak, and Chanabang peaks. Nag Tibba Trek
Trek to Nag Tibba begins at Pantwari village via Musoorie. There is an 8 km long trek to Nag Tibba base camp. You will be welcomed by some beautiful hamlets and pristine deodar forests in the way. Another major attraction of this expedition is camping. There could not be anything better than climbing up, staying overnight and gazing the star studded sky. On the next morning witness the enchanting view of sunrise and peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath, and Gangotri. Also, there is a temple at the peak where you can go and seek blessings. This trek is more like a trek that can be done overnight. It doesn’t take more than a day or two to be completed. The kind of spectacular views that it offers are equivalent to those attained after a hard climb. That’s why the Nag Tibba trek provides the best of both the worlds.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to undertake the Nag Tibba Trek is in the summer months, from April to June. To enjoy the snow, winter months from October to December are preferable.
