Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nature & Culture - Omo Valley & Yabello Tour

  Arrive Addis Ababa Airport, transfer to hotel to get some rest,
  Sightseeing the capital city of Ethiopia - Addis Ababa, includes the largest open grand market in Africa and National Museum (home of the fossilized skeleton of the early hominid Lucy) and SHIRO MEDA NATIONAL CLOTH SHOPPING CENTER then drive to MT. ENTOTO to visit St. Mary church.

  Drive to Arbaminch via Butajera en route visit Melkakuntre and Tiya stella and at last visit Welayeta Chencha (Dorze people) in their village, indigenous people of South Ethiopia who are famous for their elephants shape and no window huts, resembling a giant beehive.

  At Arbaminch visit Nechsar Park where you mainly see zebras and the endemic swayenes heartbeast and return for a boat trip on lake Chamo to visit Hippos, birds and Crocodiles.

  Drive to Jinka on the way visit Tsemay and Bena tribes at keyafer. In Jinka walk and visit in the Ari village & Museum.

  Drive to Mago Park early morning seeing some wild life and visit the mursi people known for their lip plates. Return to jinka and head to Benna Keyafer Thursday market.

  Drive to Karo people village that live by the shore of river omo, Karo wear an elaborate hairstyle sculpted in Chignon of dried mud adorned with Ostrich feathers. They always carry a wooden pillow to protect their hairstyle when they sleep then drive to Turmi
  Evening explore villages of Hammer people in Turmi.

  Drive to Omorate to visit the Dasenech people (their old name is Geleb) who are living on the banks of river Omo, where they cross the river using a tree trunk to go to the west cost where the majority of the tribe lives. The daily market at omorate is also an interesting place to stop for a photo. You can cross the Omo river by boat.
  Visit the Hammer tribe in markets and in their villages(**Markets days Available).

  Drive to Konso en route visit the Erbore people. Konso people who depends on terracing farming for thier living unlike the other tribes that are pastoralists in the omo valley you will visit also the king house in konso.

  Drive to Yabello, for "El sod" for Borena salt extraction & stop Dubluck for singing wells.

  Leave Yabello to Awassa en route visit coffee plantation around Yergacheffe and Tutu Fellas in Dilla.

  Visit in the morning the open fish market of the Sidamo people at Awassa Lake and drive back to Addis via the north rift valley lakes.
  Visiting en route Debrezeit & ziway for its Lakes with Bird life like flamingos, pelicans, Ibis and more others. This is a scenic route with geological, historical and natural history attractions. Evening you will have a farewell dinner party in Ethiopian cultural restaurant with Ethiopian live music.
