• Day 1 : Chiang Rai / Houessay

  Arriving in Chiang Rai.
  transfer By Minibus to the Border of Chiangkhong. Formalities to Leave Thailand.
  crossing the Mekong By Motorboat. Formalities for Entry Into Laos.
  welcome At the Border By Your Local Guide.
  short Visit of the Town and Its Temple.
  night At Houessay.
• Day 2 : Houessay / Pakbeng

  Transfer to the Pier At 8:45, Then Take a Local Boat to Pakbeng.
  on the Way You Will Visit Villages of Ethnic Minorities (yao, Khmu, Mr. Hong) Living a Timeless Life Along the River.
  the Landscape You Will Cross is Absolutely Wonderfull: Unique Mountains and Rainforests.
  arrive At Pakbeng, Then Transfert to Your Hotel.
  overnight in Pakbeng.
• Day 3 : Pakbeng / Luang Prabang

  After Lunch, Visit the Local Market of Pakbeng, Which is the Beginning of Our Cruise On the Mekong Towards Luang Prabang.
  you Will have Some Stops At Fishing Villages and the Sacred Cave of Pak Ou Housing Hundreds of Buddha Statues Made By the Faithful for Centuries. this Sacred Place is a Center of Pilgrimage for the Laotians.
  on the Way, You Will Visit Ban Xang Hai, a Village Renowned for Its Alcohol Distillery.
  arrival in Luang Prabang in Late Afternoon and Transfer to Hotel.
  overnight in Luang Prabang.
• Day 4 : Luang Prabang

  Luang Prabang is a World Heritage Site Declared So By Unesco. It is Still Very Well Preserved and Plays An Important Role in Southeast Asia.
  early Morning, You Will See Monks all Over Collecting the Food Offerings from the Locals.
  during the Day You Will Visit the Royal Palace Which Was Converted Into a National Museum and the Famous Temples Wat Visunaram (the Oldest Temple with An Impressive Statue of Buddha), Wat Xieng Thong (the Most Important Temple) from the Mid-fourteenth Century, and Wat Mai (five-storey Building Dating from the Nineteenth Century).
  in the Afternoon, We Will Take the Car to Discover the Wonderfull Waterfalls of Kuangsi (35 Km), On the Way We Will Stop to Visit the Villages Around: Bam Ban Xom and Thapene.
  in the End of the Day, We Will Climb the 328 Steps of Mount Phou Si and Admire the Magnificent Sunset.
  overnight in Luang Prabang.
• Day 5 : Luang Prabang / Vientiane

  After Breakfast, Visit the Weaving Village of Ban Phnom, Known for Producing Silk Scarf and Woven Cotton According to Traditional Techniques.
  then Transfert to the Airport to Discover Vientiane, Capital of Laos.
  you Will Be Welcomed By Our Guide Upon Arrival.
  discover the Different Sites of the City Including Wat Si Saket (the Oldest Monastery in Vientiane), Wat Phra Keo Ho and Talat Thongkhankham.

  finally, Enjoy a Walk Along the Mekong River to Discover One of Your Most Beautiful Sunsets.

• Day 7 : Vientiane

  After Breakfast, Free Time Until Your Transfer to Airport.
