Ometepe Island Tour Package

Ometepe is the number 8 biggest island in the world, unique because its two volcanoes in the island where its name come from, ome: twin and Tepetl: volcano equal to island with twin volcanoes, in 2008 it was nominated as the number 7 world`s wonder.

We will visit the main touristic places in the island which are punta Jesus y Maria, charco verde, mystic ojo the agua, the coin and petroglyphs museums and Santo Domingo beach where we are going to have an excellent lunch in a very local restaurant with a few different dishes where the special of the house is Fried Fish with tomato sauce.

We will enjoy the nature since we take the ferry to sail to the island because of the lake and the magnificent view we will have of Zapatera island to the left side and Ometepe island in front, then while in the island we will be able to see local people in their daily life and also being able to see many local fruit trees.
