A very famous shrine in Dhanaulti, Surkanda Devi Temple is located near Kaddukhal about 24 kms from the town of Chamba and about 40 kms from Mussoorie. It is one of the 51 Shakti peeth located all over India, dedicated to the Goddess Surkanda, the manifestation of feminine divine.

Early morning after having breakfast drive to the holy shrine Surkanda Devi temple. Upon arrival, start a short 02 kms zigzag and well laid trail to the main temple for Darshan and to seek the blessings of Mata Sati. Take some rest on the top and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. After offering prayers head back to the vehicle and start driven to Haridwar
