Transfer from the starting point with a stop at the Equator for photos, followed by an afternoon drive into Queen Elizabeth National Park. The day focuses on transit and an introductory game drive experience in the park with opportunities to observe savanna wildlife and birdlife en route.

Start with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to seek out grazing herbivores and predators, then in the afternoon embark on a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel among elephant and buffalo herds. The Kazinga Channel cruise offers excellent waterlife viewing and birding opportunities.

Drive south to the Ishasha sector within Queen Elizabeth National Park for a focused search for the region famous tree climbing lions. Expect guided drives through the area and time spent scanning fig trees and surrounding habitats for lounging lions and other wildlife.

Morning activity in the park followed by departures. Depending on arrangements, transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala, or onward transfer to Bwindi. This day covers final wildlife viewing if time allows and road transfers to the chosen departure point.
