Raglan & Beyond Package

Our road trip kicks off as we head into the unique geology of the southwest coast landscapes on our way to the privately owned and operated Nikau Caves. Here we can explore the natural beauty of the underground limestone glow worm caves on a 1-hour guided tour. Our cave adventure includes a short underground stream crawl, so if you're claustrophobic this adventure 'may not' be for you. But if the thought of crawling in underground streams makes you 'just a little bit nervous' - go for it - you will have a blast!

Our alternative option is to relax and enjoy the gardens and majestic natural surrounds with an excellent locally ground coffee and a slice of cake or a glass of wine.

Our journey continues to our overnight Kiwi Bach in the beautiful harbour side town of Raglan, more well known internationally as a surfing mecca. Enjoy the town and beach delights of Raglan for the afternoon and choose from an evening feast at the bach, or enjoy one of the excellent establishments in Raglan town.

We explore the back roads of the West Coast on our way to a sleepy fishing village even deeper in the heart of rural New Zealand. We enjoy the unique natural features of this region before heading back towards Auckland city, stopping along the way to view our feathered NZ icon amongst many other native species at the kiwi house in Otorohanga.
