Reserve of Paracas Tour Package

We will start with a briefing meeting about this tour at the hotel reception. This tour lasts three hours approximately. We start the tour by the rock formation “La Catedral”. This is a natural shelter with impressive deep cliffs where different type of birds get refuge and has the nesting possibility.

The same place has a lookout point facing to “Supay” beach where the combination of desert next the sea a set up new for some, is a special place for people whom like the art of photography. Next stop is at “Yumake” beach; there we enjoy a optional hike by the sea shore.

Then we move onto the area of isthmus of Paracas peninsula; the isthmus is the narrow piece of land, this joint the continent with the peninsula’s body in Paracas Peninsula; this area show up a impressive landscape where you have the possibility to see the two bays from one point.

Driving a bit more by the desert we’ll get the “Santa Maria” beach. There the sea shore is formed by red color sediments therefore may people know the place as the red beach. From here we goes straight to the interpretative centre of Paracas National Reserve to know some details hard to see or imagine from our field visit. There are the possibilities to take a hike to see Chilean Flamingos, these depends of the season and availability (May-Oct). You may ask by Birding programs.
