Sariska National Park which was earlier known as Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary is located at a distance of 133km from Jaipur in Alwar district of Rajasthan. As the name of this wildlife reserve suggests, it is a tiger reserve, so you can expect to have a glimpse of this royal animal amidst the verdant forest. Apart from the big cats several other species of wildlife can be spotted in its forest such as leopard, golden jackal, four-horned antelope, Indian eagle-owl and some more. The majestic Sariska Palace, which was once built as a royal hunting lodge, is located on the edge of this national park.
