Morning we Check out hotel than proceed to Port Blair Haddo jetty for proceeding Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) by private A/c Cruise ferry, our representative will receive you in Havelock jetty and escorted to the hotel check in. After Breakfast we proceed to Ross Island Historical place also now new name call as Subash Chandar Boss island (by boat) the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime, it now stands an imposing relic, with the structure almost in debris. A small museum displays photographs and other antiques of the Britishers, relevant to these islands. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the leader of the Indian National Army, is believed to have visited the island in 1943, and many claim that he even hosted the tricolour over the Government House as a symbol of defiance against colonial rule. In December 2018, this island was renamed as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island as a fitting tribute to his contributions towards the Indian freedom struggle, honoring the indomitable spirit of the Indian freedom fighter.
