Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Kaziranga - Guwahati Tour

Pickup from Guwahati airport and proceed to Shillong also called "Scotland of the East". While traveling you can watch the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani) surrounded by sylvan hills and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines and the azure blue skies. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast proceed for Cherrapunjee. While journey we enroute Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. The destination is as important as the drive which is marked with waterfalls, deep gorges and astounding greenery. Important Cherrapunjee view points - Duwanshing Syiem view point, Seven Sister Falls, Ramakrishna Mission, Nakalikai falls, Mausmai Cave, Eco Park, Bangladesh Border etc. Return back to Shillong have lunch then go for local sightseeing like lady Hydari Park, lake etc. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, proceeds to Kaziranga National Park (KNP) the home of the "One Horned Rhinoceros" en root the scenic BARAPANI LAKE. It is one of the oldest national parks in Assam on the Southbank of river Brahmaputra. Spread across 430 sq.km. It is a dazzling mosaic of interspersed with vast tracts of marshes and shallow pools that are a favorite haunt of this celebrity pre-historic beast. Wild elephant, Hog deer and Barasingha also abound. On reaching check-in at hotel, overnight stay at hotel.

Start the day at 5 A.M with a 1 hr. Elephant Safari in the Bagori (western) range of Kaziranga. Later return to lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy Jeep Safari in the Kohora (central) range in the park. Return to hotel for Lunch, after lunch proceeds to Guwahati. On reaching, check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
