After the adventure of game viewing throughout Tanzania’s amazing national parks, it is a welcome pleasure to be able to relax on the white sand beaches or enjoy such activities as snorkeling and scuba diving. Pemba is generally considered to have the best scuba diving in the country with unspoiled reefs and an incredible array of marine life. The water around Zanzibar (Unguja) is also quite good with very good corals, though the water is sometimes a little sandy. Good snorkeling and diving can also be found near Pangani and Bagamoyo.
