South Africa 7 Days/6 Njghts Tour

The tour begins departing from Durban, travelling towards St Lucia. Soon after our arrival at iSimangaliso Wetland Park, in the afternoon we prepare ourselves to enjoy a Cultural Zulu Evening. You learn how to greet and count in the ethnic language as well as having the pleasure of enjoying one of the local beers made from Ilala Palm.

In the morning we travel to the Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve for a game drive in open 4×4 vehicles. The park is the only conservation managed by the state in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, where all the Big Five can be found. The park now has the largest population of white rhino in the world, due to conservation efforts. In the afternoon, we cross the border into Swaziland and enjoy a boat cruise on St Lucia estuary.

Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is Swaziland’s oldest sanctuary, covering a surface of 4,560 hectares. No predators can be found in this section, which gives the opportunity for self-guided hikes. Hiking is a terrific way to get close to nature and wildlife. Take time participating in the mountain biking or visiting the Chief’s village.

Start the day with a nature walk and we visit a craft market before making our way across the border into South Africa .

Again today and continue to travel to the Greater Kruger National Park for two memorable days of game driving. The Greater Kruger National Park is home to Africa’s Big 5 as well as plenty of other African animal species. Our vehicle gives us a height advantage to take better photographs of the incredible area. We will have several game drives to get the chance to spot as much wildlife as possible.

We will make the most of our day game driving through the Park. Today you have the opportunity to experience Kruger in an optional open 4×4 safari vehicle. Enjoy an optional sunset drive this afternoon. For those not participating in the 4×4 game drive, you enjoy a game drive through the park in a truck with your guide.

Our final day will be spent driving along the scenic Panorama Route, stopping for incredible views of Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes. The tour will finish once we reach Johannesburg, although most will enjoy an optional dinner out on our last night together.
