It has emerged as a major Buddhist pilgrimage center and has some of the finest monasteries in India that you cannot afford to miss. The Rumtek monastery is undoubtedly one of the greatest monasteries.
Lachung is also known as mini Switzerland due to the presence of the famed Yumthang Valley (valley of flowers)

After breakfast in the morning, we will start an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), which are about 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. After exploring the lake and the temple. Now We will proceed to visit the Rumtek Monastery. In Evening, visit to the Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok. return back to your hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, checkout from the Hotel & head out for sightseeing of Gurudongmar Lake. Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest situated lakes in North Sikkim. After sightseeing in Lachen, continue your journey towards Lachung. It is a region that is fully covered with Rhododendron forest. Visit the Chopta Valley and Thangu Valley on your way. Check-in to Hotel and rest. Overnight stay in Lachung.

Lachung – Yumthang Valley- Gangtok.
After breakfast in the morning, check-out from Hotel. And move for sightseeing. Yumthang Valley that stands for ‘The Valley of Flowers’ is your destination for today. Reach 11,800 feet above sea level to this valley. On the way You may visit the famous hot spring that is popular owing to its curative properties for skin diseases. After sightseeing of Yumthang Valley, proceed for Gangtok. Singhik & Mangan These are two scenic towns you will cross on your way to Gangtok. If the weather is suitable and the sky is clear, you can enjoy the stunning views of Himalayan ranges. You may catch glimpses of the peaks of Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Simvo, Kabru, Jopuno and Mt. Siniolchu. After 6 hrs. drive you will reach Gangtok. Check-in to hotel and overnight stay in Gangtok.
