On the way back, we’ll stop at a local plantation to taste the famous Luwak coffee and visit Tirta Empul, where you can watch locals participate in a centuries-old purification ritual in the holy spring water.
An early start at 7:00 AM ensures we beat the crowds as we head toward the mystical East. The air is cooler here, and the landscapes are dominated by the towering presence of Mount Agung.Visit the Lempuyang Temple, the 'Gate of Heaven,' where the temple gates perfectly frame the volcano in the distance.Wander through the tranquil Tirta Gangga, a former royal palace featuring stone carvings, fountains, and koi ponds that seem to float on the water's surface—a perfect spot for a peaceful afternoon stroll.
