Day 1: Theni to Idukki & Ramakkalmedu – Ascent to the Highlands

07:00 AM Luxury Pickup & Departure Your Thar Roxx will pick up your small group from your preferred location in Theni.
07:30 AM Drive towards Ramakkalmedu Begin the scenic drive into the Western Ghats (Kerala border via Cumbum/Nedumkandom route).
11:30 AM Ramakkalmedu Viewpoint Arrive at Ramakkalmedu. Visit the hilltop viewpoint known for its spectacular panoramic views of the plains of Theni, Cumbum, and surrounding villages.
01:30 PM Group Lunch (Ramakkalmedu/Nedumkandam) Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
03:00 PM Idukki Dam View/Arch Dam Area Drive towards the Idukki Arch Dam (Kulamavu/Cheruthoni area). Stop at a suitable viewpoint (like Hill View Park) to admire the massive arch dam and its reservoir.
05:30 PM Check-in & Relaxation Check into your pre-booked accommodation in the Idukki/Kattappana area.

09:30 AM Spice Plantation Experience Visit a local spice plantation in the Idukki area (e.g., Kattappana or Kumily route) to see cardamom, coffee, and pepper, and purchase fresh produce.
11:30 AM Theni Border Viewpoint Drive to a border viewpoint like Bodi Mettu View Point or another scenic spot on the return route towards Theni, offering final stunning views of the valley and plains.
01:30 PM Lunch En-route Stop for a group lunch break on the Tamil Nadu side of the highway near Theni.
03:30 PM Vaigai Dam (Optional/Time Permitting) If time allows, make a quick stop at the Vaigai Dam to visit the garden area.
05:00 PM Drop-off Arrive back in Theni and be dropped off at your preferred location, concluding your comfortable tour with Rengha Holidays.
