Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

Bus to Besi Sahar, the starting point of the trek.
Day 2

Bahundanda

Trek to Bahundanda for the night, a village set on a long ridge at 1310m.
Day 3

Trek

Trek through amphitheatre-shaped rice terraces, lush forests, Spend the night at Charuje.
Day 4

Manang

Enter the Manang district, overnight in Bagarchhap, a typically Tibetan style village.
Day 5

Himalayan Peaks

Negotiate a few steep forested ridges, and views major Himalayan peaks. Overnight in Chame.
Day 6

Pisang

A narrow steep path through a very dense forest eventually opening up to Pisang.
Day 7

Manang

Enter the Upper Manang region. Manang village resembles a medieval fortress.
Day 8

Rest Day

Rest Day, Manang. Necessary for acclimatization.
Day 9

Throng La Pass

Start the 2000m ascents up to Throng La Pass. A short walk up to Yak Kharka.
Day 10

Throng Phedi

Make your way to the foot to the pass, Throng Phedi.

Throng Peak High Camp 5,416m, Overnight Camp

Throng Peak

Throng Peak summit and back to base camp (6400 m.)
Day 13

Kagbeni

Trek to Kagbeni, along a plateau above the Kali Gandaki, the world’s deepest gorge.
Walk to at Marpha, renowned for an assortment of apple delicacies.
Day 14

Lete

Emerge back into subtropical forests, lush with vegetation. Stay the night at Lete.
Day 15

Tatopani

A steep descent down to Tatopani.
Day 16

Rest Day Tatopani

Rest day Tatopani. Tatopani means “hot water”; the village is famous for its natural hot springs.
Day 17

Sikha

The trail today offers a few up and down hill sections. Stay at Sikha, a prosperous Magar village.
Day 18

Trek Through Rhododendron & Magnolia Forests

Trek through Rhododendron & Magnolia forests, passing small settlements up to Ghorepani.
Day 19

Poon Hill

After an early hike up Poon Hill continue the trek down to Ulleri.
Day 20

Birethanti

A short walk today descending a stone staircase. Your Last night is spent in Birethanti, Transfer by road back to Pokhara.
Day 21

Departure

One extra days reserve for encase of emergency
