It also Houses a Two - Storied Statue of Buddha Which Has the Main Prayer Hall Around Its Shoulder. Hemis - Naturally Protected and Hidden At the Bottom of a Gorge, the Largest Monastery of Ladakh. It Has the Distinction of the Largest Treasured Tangkha the Country that is Held Only Once Every 12 Years.

Have a very hearty breakfast with hot drink. Ride 47 km south east to the small post at Upshi on the Manali Leh Highway. From here leave the highway and continue your ride towards east to the small village of Hyamnya about 35 km for camping

After an early breakfast, ride 60 km to the village of Chumathang. The village is famous all over Ladakh and Zanskar for its medicinal hot water springs. It is effective in healing all kinds of body pain.

Enjoy hot drink and take sumptuous breakfast. Ride through a charming landscape to reach the Mahe Bridge 23 km away. Cross over and ride 14 km through a narrow green gorge to the village of Sumdo. We will camp near the village. In the evening, explore the small Gompa showing many preserved paintings and images.

After hearty breakfast leave for the village of Korzok at the northern end of the spectacular Tsomoriri Lake. Ride 43 km through vast shrub land surrounded by rolling hills. Pass a small Turquoise Lake. Reach the village of Korzok where we have camp near this lovely lake for dinner.

Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Walk around this lovely lake 24 km long lake. You see many migratory birds.

Take an early morning breakfast and proceed toward another picturesque lake – Tsokaror Salt Lake. Go to the village of Puga where we turn west to cross the Pologongka La. Enjoy birding and wildlife viewing. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp near the Tsokar Lake.

Take your tea and breakfast. Ride through the vast pasture lands of the More Plainsto to reach in Debring. Debring lies below the Tanglang La. We set up camp here.
