Trout and Char are waiting for you
The lake holds a healthy balance of Trout and Char. The Rainbow Trout are very willing to take a dry fly and make for a fun catch as they bounce across the lake. Brown Trout are more cautious feeders, but as they’ve grown they are more comfortable in snatching our lures. Arctic Char are rare and provide the greatest challenge for any expert angler. Lake Trout is a powerful and very predatory fish that makes for an exciting catch. One 4½-pounder we caught took more than 15 minutes to fight and land. It’s just a short walk beyond the lake and toward the glacier to a mountain lodge where your prized catch can be prepared and served to you—the freshest fish you’ve ever eaten.
