Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Bhubaneswar

  Bhubaneswar-Arrival Bhubaneswar & transfer to decent hotel. Visit the temple to understand the famous temple architecture for the 7th till 12th century A.D. During evening know Orissan history from an eminent historian.

• Day 2 : Proceed to Lalitgiri/Ratnagiri

  An excursion to Lalitgiri/Ratnagiri to visit the Buddhist excavated sites & STUPAS from 2nd century B.C. - 4 th century A.D, also visit the museum. Back to Bhubaneswar.

• Day 3 : Proceed to Konark

  During morning visit Nandankanan famous for white tiger & lion safari. Then proceed to Konark via Dhauligiri peace pagoda &Pipili applique making villages. Stay at Konarkyatrinivas. During evening enjoy the traditional Odissi/Gotipua dance at Guru GangadharPradhan'sGurukul.

• Day 4 : Proceed to Puri via Raghurajpur

  During sun rise, visit the world famous Sun Temple, Konark (13th century ) the jem of Orissan architecture. Proceed to Puri via Raghurajpur to learn about the technique of famous Pattachitra painting of Orissa. Stay in a hotel by the beach at Puri.

• Day 5 : Visit the Jagannath Temple

  Visit the Jagannath Temple & other local sightseeing in Puri. Then relax by the beach. Enjoy the bonfire.

• Day 6 : Proceed to Chilikalake

  Proceed to Chilikalake at Satapada, take the boat trip on the lake to meet Dolphins in nature. Visit the Chilika Interpretation center to know about the Ramasar awarded lake. Picnic at the island where sea meets the lake. Stay at yatrinivasSatapada.

• Day 7 : Proceed to Puri/Bhubaneswar

  After breakfast proceed to Puri/Bhubaneswar to the train for next destination.
