This is the Log of a Memorable Trip to a Mesmerising Corner of India – the Ancient Silk Route that Used to Connect Lhasa in Tibet Via the Jelep La Pass to India and Onwards to the Rest of the World. in the Travel Circuit, this Territory is Marked as East Sikkim and Has Been Opened to Tourists Relatively Recently. Even Now Most of the Route is Restricted Area Due Its International Boundary with China (tibet) and the Route is Controlled By the Indian Army Named as ‘cloud Warriors’. Trade Was Being Continued Through this Route Until 1962 When War Broke Out Between India and China Thus Leading to the Closure of the Route.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Pick up from Airport/Railway Station and move towards Sillery via Kalimpong & Prdong. Photography of sunset from Sillery after Lunch.
Day 2

After breakfast move for Zuluk, covering Mankhim Top, Rangli (for inner line permit), Kuekhola Water Falls, Lingtam, Nimachen, Padamcnen and night stay at Zuluk.
Day 3

Start for Sunrise at 04:00AM to witness the changing colours on Mt. Kanchenjungha & Himalayan Range from Ganek / Thambi View Point / Lungthung. After Breakfast, start for Silk Route Trail to reach Lungthung Valley covering Ganek, Thambi View Point. Overnight stay at Lungthung.

Day 4

After Breakfast start for completing the Silk Route trail covering Adi Baba Dham, Tukla Valley, Kupup, Elephant Lake, Golf Course, Jelep La Pass View Point and overnight stay at Gnathang.

Day 5

After breakfast move for Aritar/Reshi Khola via Zuluk & Rangli. Night stay at Aritar/Reshi Eco Tourism Cottage.

Day 6

After breakfast proceed for Ramdhura/Thanghulam. Overnight stay at Ramdhura/Thanghulam.
