This is the Log of a Memorable Trip to a Mesmerising Corner of India – the Ancient Silk Route that Used to Connect Lhasa in Tibet Via the Jelep La Pass to India and Onwards to the Rest of the World. in the Travel Circuit, this Territory is Marked as East Sikkim and Has Been Opened to Tourists Relatively Recently. Even Now Most of the Route is Restricted Area Due Its International Boundary with China (tibet) and the Route is Controlled By the Indian Army Named as ‘cloud Warriors’. Trade Was Being Continued Through this Route Until 1962 When War Broke Out Between India and China Thus Leading to the Closure of the Route.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Pick Up from Airport/railway Station and Move Towards Rishyap Via Damdim, Gorubathan, Lava & Stay At Rishyap. Photography of Sunset from Rishyap After Lunch.
Day 2

Photography of Sunrise At 04:00am to Witness the Changing Colours On Mt. Kanchenjungha & Himalayan Range from Resort. After Breakfast 1.5km Trek to Teffin Dara to Get 360° View of Himalayan Range. Return Resort During Lunch & Overnight Stay At Rishyap.
Day 3

After Breakfast, Check Out from Rishyap and Reach Kolakham Covering Sightseeing of Lava Monastery, Changey Falls and Stay At Kolakham.
Day 4

Witness the changing colours Mt. Kanchenjungha during sunrise from resort. After photography of sunrise & Breakfast, start for Sillery Gaon covering Lava & Pedong. After lunch an optional trek for 3½Hrs to Damsang Fort or Tinchuley View Point. Overnight stay at Sillery.
Day 5

Capture the photographs of Mt. Kanchenjungha & Himalayan Range during sunrise from resort. After breakfast start for Zuluk covering Ramitey View Point, Silent Valley, Rangli (for inner line permit), Lingtam, Kuekhola Water Falls, Nimachen and Padamchen. Overnight stay at Zuluk.

Day 6

Start for Sunrise at 04:00AM to witness the changing colours on Mt. Kanchenjungha & Himalayan Range from Ganek / Thambi View Point / Lungthung. After Breakfast, start for Silk Route Trail to reach Gnathang Valley covering Ganek, Thambi View Point, Lungthung & Laxmi Chowk. Overnight stay at Gnathang.

Day 7

After Breakfast start for completing the Silk Route trail covering Adi Baba Dham, Tukla Valley, Kupup, Elephant Lake, Golf Course, Jelep La Pass View Point and overnight stay at Lungthung.

After Breakfast Proceed for Reshi Khola Via Zuluk & Rangli and Stay At Reshi Eco Tourism Cottage Beside the River.
