Trek the forested slopes of Rwanda's picturesque Volcanoes National Park in search of the world's largest population of wild mountain gorillas. Immersed in this dramatic natural setting, savor every second as you quietly observe intriguing between gorilla family groups in this world-renowned national park.
Day 1 : 1-Day Rwanda Gorilla
Your driver-guide will provide the services of picking you up from your hotel in Kigali and offer a brief orientation regarding your mountain gorilla trekking expedition at 4:00 Am. After this short briefing, you'll embark on a picturesque driver to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, where the captivating landscapes of Rwanda will unfold before you. The drive from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park takes approximately two hours and 30 minutes.
Upon arrival of Volcanoes National Park headquarters, meet your experienced guide and attend a briefing on the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You will also be divided into groups of 8 individuals and assigned a specific gorilla trekking family to visit.
Trekking can be between 90 minutes and the whole morning depending on what family group assigned. You will spend one precious hour with the mountain gorillas, sometimes moving around to stay with the gorillas or following them. The guide will ensure you are in the best spots to take the most beautiful pictures and experience the breathtaking experience properly.
After your time with the gorillas, you will return to the starting point of the trek where you meet your driver-guide and transfer to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you will begin your journey back to Kigali. Upon arrival in Kigali, you'll be transferred back to your hotel or to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight and bidding farewell to your driver-guide.
Day meal plan: Lunch with soft drinks.

Payment Terms & Methods :
Upon confirmation, 50 % of the total cost payable. The balance of 50 %, 120 days prior to the commencement of your trip. At the time of confirmation, if your departure date is less than 120 days, then the total cost shall be paid.
Cancellation & Refund Policy :
Payment for mountain gorilla and golden permits are non-refundable, however, rescheduling cost 20 %.
