Today you begin your journey toward the remote Himalayan region. The drive from Kathmandu to Machhakhola takes around 7–8 hours, passing through scenic hills, rivers, terraced farms, and rural villages. The road is a mix of paved and off-road sections, becoming more adventurous as you approach the Budhi Gandaki valley. Machhakhola is a small riverside village where you will stay overnight in a teahouse

The trek officially begins today along the Budhi Gandaki River. The trail includes ups and downs, narrow paths, suspension bridges, and hot springs at Tatopani if you choose a short stop. You pass through villages like Khorlabesi and Dobhan before reaching Jagat, a beautiful stone-paved village and entry checkpoint of the Manaslu Conservation Area.

After completing permit checks, the trail gradually climbs through forests and river valleys. You pass through Salleri, Philim, and Ekle Bhatti. The landscape begins to change from subtropical greenery to more alpine terrain. Deng is a quiet settlement surrounded by forests and hills, offering a peaceful overnight stay.

Today’s trek becomes more scenic and culturally rich as you enter upper Nupri region, influenced by Tibetan culture. You pass through Ghap and forested trails filled with waterfalls and prayer flags. You will notice traditional stone houses and Buddhist mani walls. Namrung is a beautiful village with excellent mountain views, including glimpses of Manaslu on clear days.

This is one of the most scenic days of the trek. The trail passes through Lho village, where you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Manaslu.

Today's trek takes you on a scenic side trail to Pungen Gompa, a peaceful monastery nestled beneath the towering Manaslu Glacier. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m), Himalchuli, Ngadi Chuli, and the surrounding snow-capped peaks. After spending time at the monastery and soaking in the tranquil Himalayan atmosphere, descend back to the main trail and continue to Samagaun, a beautiful traditional Tibetan-influenced village and the gateway to higher Manaslu adventures. The hike combines cultural experiences, spiritual significance, and spectacular mountain scenery, making it one of the highlights of the Manaslu Circuit Trek

Today is reserved for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude before crossing the high mountain pass. Instead of resting completely, you'll take a rewarding hike to Manaslu Base Camp (4,800 m), following a gradual trail with incredible views of the Manaslu Glacier, surrounding alpine landscapes, and the majestic Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m). After enjoying the breathtaking scenery and taking time to rest at the base camp, you'll descend back to Samagaun for an overnight stay. This hike is essential for proper acclimatization while offering one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the Manaslu Circuit Trek

Today's trek follows a gradual trail through alpine landscapes, yak pastures, and traditional stone villages as you make your way to Samdo, the last permanent settlement before the Larkya La Pass. The trek is relatively short, allowing plenty of time to rest and continue acclimatizing for the higher elevations ahead.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization with an exciting hike toward the Nepal–Tibet border. The trail climbs gradually through barren alpine terrain, offering spectacular views of surrounding peaks, glaciers, and the remote Himalayan landscape. After reaching the border viewpoint and taking in the breathtaking scenery, you'll retrace your steps back to Samdo for an overnight stay. This hike helps your body adapt to the higher altitude while providing a unique glimpse into one of the most remote regions of the Manaslu area

Today's trek is a short but important ascent from Samdo to Dharmasala (Larkya Phedi), the base camp for crossing the challenging Larkya La Pass. The trail passes through rugged alpine terrain with stunning views of snow-covered peaks, glaciers, and dramatic mountain landscapes. Upon reaching Dharmasala, spend the afternoon resting and preparing for the early morning climb over the pass on the following day.

Today is the most challenging and rewarding day of the trek. Begin early in the morning and ascend steadily to Larkya La Pass (5,100 m), the highest point of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II. After celebrating your achievement, descend through glacial moraines and alpine landscapes to the beautiful valley of Bhimthang, where you'll spend the night surrounded by spectacular Himalayan scenery.

Today's trek descends through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests, crossing wooden bridges and passing charming mountain villages as you leave the high alpine region behind. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the surrounding peaks, cascading streams, and lush valleys before arriving at the peaceful village of Tilche. The lower elevation offers a comfortable overnight stay and marks the final stages of your Manaslu Circuit adventure

After breakfast, begin a scenic drive from Tilche to Kathmandu, following winding mountain roads alongside the Marsyangdi and Trishuli Rivers. Along the journey, pass through picturesque villages, terraced hillsides, and bustling roadside towns while enjoying Nepal's diverse landscapes. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel, bringing your unforgettable Manaslu Circuit adventure to a memorable conclusion.
