You will be picked up in Nairobi and drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains known for its spectacular annual wildebeest migration. It is also home to the “Big Five”. Upon arrival at the Keekorok Lodge, you will have lunch and have some time to relax before departing for your first game drive. The reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents in the park include the giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, topi, both Thomson's and Grants gazelle and more.
