Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ), you will be warmly welcomed by Nyika Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, relax and enjoy the beautiful island atmosphere. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the nearby surroundings or unwind at the beach before your overnight stay.

Day 2 Day 1: Zanzibar – Nyerere National Park

Day 2: Sunrise Safari & Return to Zanzibar Start your day with an early morning game drive as the African wilderness comes to life. This is the ideal time to spot predators returning from their nightly hunt and other wildlife beginning their day in the cool morning air. After your safari, return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast before checking out. You will then be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ), a Nyika Safaris representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or preferred drop-off location, bringing your unforgettable Nyerere National Park adventure to a close with lasting memories of Tanzania's incredible wildlife. Safari Cancellation Policy

At Nyika Safaris, we understand that travel plans may change. To ensure smooth operations and avoid costs incurred with our suppliers, the following cancellation policy applies:
More than 30 days before departure: Free cancellation (less any non-refundable deposits, bank charges, or flight booking fees).
15–30 days before departure: 25% of the total safari cost will be charged.
7–14 days before departure: 50% of the total safari cost will be charged.
3–6 days before departure: 75% of the total safari cost will be charged.
Within 72 hours of departure, no-show, or early departure: 100% of the total safari cost will be charged.
Important Notes
Domestic flights, park fees, concession fees, and special permits that have already been purchased are non-refundable where supplier policies apply.
Date changes are subject to availability and any rate differences.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14–30 business days after receiving the cancellation request.
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or trip interruptions.
