Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Srinagar – Sonamarg + Local Walks

  Morning:
  
  Drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg (2.5–3 hours / 80 km via Ganderbal & Sindh Valley).
  
  Optional stop at Kangan or Wayil village for tea and local views.
  
  Afternoon:
  
  Check-in at hotel/cottage/camp.
  
  Walk along Sindh River or relax in a riverside café.
  
  Visit Thajwas Glacier base (via pony ride or ATV – local union rides only).
  
  Lush meadows, snowfields (even in summer), pine forests.
  
  Evening:
  
  Bonfire (if your camp or resort offers it).
  
  Dinner with local or Indian cuisine.
  
  Overnight Stay: Sonamarg hotel or glamping site.

• Day 2 : Glacier Adventure / Meadow Picnic

  Option 1: Full Glacier Day
  
  Take pony/ATV ride to Thajiwas Glacier (3–4 hours round trip).
  
  Optional trekking beyond base for adventure enthusiasts.

  Option 2: Hike or picnic in nearby villages
  
  Visit Nilagrad River (famous for reddish healing water).
  
  Explore Sarbal village – quiet and photogenic.
