Arrival: Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where your guide will meet you and brief you on your upcoming adventure.
City Tour (Optional): If time permits, enjoy a brief Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and local markets.
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park: After the tour, depart for Volcanoes National Park, a 2.5-hour drive through Rwanda’s scenic countryside.
Dinner & Overnight: Check into your lodge near Volcanoes National Park and relax in preparation for the next day’s trekking.

Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Golden Monkey Trekking: After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your golden monkey trek. These lively and beautiful primates are endemic to the Virunga volcanic mountains and are a delight to observe in their natural habitat.
Trek Duration: The trek typically lasts between 2-4 hours, including the time spent with the golden monkeys.
Return to Lodge & Lunch: Return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation.
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: In the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, crossing the Rwanda-Uganda border. The drive takes about 3-4 hours, depending on the location of your lodge in Bwindi.
Dinner & Overnight: Check into your lodge in Bwindi and prepare for your gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Departure
Gorilla Trekking: Rise early for a briefing at the park headquarters before beginning your gorilla trek. The trek can range from 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family you are assigned. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll have an hour to observe them up close a truly unforgettable experience.
Packed Lunch: Enjoy a packed lunch in the forest after the trek.
Return to Kigali: After the trek, return to your lodge to freshen up before beginning your journey back to Kigali. The drive back takes about 5-6 hours, depending on border crossing times.
Departure: Depending on your flight schedule, your guide will transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
