Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland.

Wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment.

The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November.

There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve.

Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve

  Pick up at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at the Lodge/Camp in time for lunch. The accent here is on the Masai people and the fabulous wealth of wildlife, birdlife, and natural flora found in the fabled Masai Mara Game Reserve. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five. All meals and overnight.

  Full day with morning and afternoon game drives across the plains and close encounter with elephants, the lion, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, African birds, hippo, crocodile, vultures, African birds of prey, wildebeest, and hyena. You will be in your exclusive safari van with your professional tour guide to assist you in taking photos, spotting a lot of animals & birds Optional visit to the Maasai Village. All meals and overnight.

  After breakfast and check-out and drive back to Nairobi. The driver will drop you off at the airport.
