• Day 1 : BLYDE RIVER CANYON

  It is an absolutely stunning forest about 400 km north of Johannesburg. Its gorges, valleys, mountains and the river represents nature at its best. The aroma of leaves and flower fragrance, the chipping birds, the distant laughter of hyenas, and the sound of crickets muffled by the waterfalls adds to the beauty of this forest. • Day 2 : CRADLE OF HUMAN KIND

  This is one of the spectacular places some 50km away from Johannesburg City Centre. It is also known as the Center of human origins. The local people prefer calling it Maropeng. Here human skeletons believed to be the oldest in the world were found dating some millions of years in age. A tour in these caves is a mind opener and undoubtedly unlocks the answer to the question” where do human beings come from?”

• Day 3 : SOWETO /VILAKAZI STREET

  Is a township 15km from the Johannesburg City Centre. It is famous for being the residence of many South African pre-independence political activists. Nelson Mandela, Winnie Madikizela Mandela, Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, and many more grew up in this township. Their houses are now historic political sites. The uprising in June 1976 started here in this township. The spot where an activist by the name of Hector Petersen was gunned down is just about some 100 metres away from the house of Nelson Mandela. This site was declared a national political historic site. On this piece of ground now stands a museum named after him. Soweto is now an exceptionally peaceful society and a tourist hub.
