Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Guwahati

Umananda Temple

Arrive at Guwahati and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, you can visit the Nilachal Hills, which is home to the Kamakhya Temple, the Chhinnamasta Temple, the Bhairabi Temple and the Bagala Temple. You can also visit the Umananda Temple, which is located on an island in the middle of the River Brahmaputra.

Day 2

Cherrapunjee

Nohkalikai Falls Shillong Peak

After breakfast, head to Cherrapunjee, which is around a 4-hour drive. On your way, you can stop at Barapani (Umiam Lake) and Shillong Peak. Once you arrive at Cherrapunjee, you can visit the Nohkalikai Falls, the Mawsmai Cave and the Seven Sister Falls.

Day 3

Shillong

After breakfast, head back to Shillong and visit the Wards Lake, the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christian, the Shillong Golf Course and the Don Bosco Museum. You can also visit the Lady Hydari Park, which is dedicated to the first lady of the province, Lady Hydari.

Day 4

Guwahati - Departure

Umananda Temple Navagraha Temple

After breakfast, head back to Guwahati and visit the Kamakhya Temple and the Navagraha Temples. You can also visit the Umananda Temple on Peacock Island.

There is a saying " once you visit assam, it never leaves you " We have finished our trip. Yet we yearn for more. Such amazing experience with unique locations and a serene environment. Kaziranga was such a beautiful location and the safari was a non missable experience. Meghalaya was a heaven in the clouds. Laitlum canyon could even make a chatterbox speechless.
