Lunch will be served the Nakuru Lodge . Situated at the heart of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru National Park is home to one of the most amazing ornithological spectacles in the world – the flight of the flamingoes! Famous for the millions of pink flamingoes which flock this soda lake to feed on its teeming algae. Besides this, the park has over 450 species of birds – a heaven for avid bird watchers. It is also a sanctuary the great –endangered black Rhino and abounds with other game such as buffalos, lions and the elusive leopard. Breakfast and depart at 0730 hrs for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy a leisurely drive arriving in time for lunch at the Luxury Tented Camp. This is a vast area of grassy plains converging by the meandering Mara river. It is an African Gem and an area rich in culture, tradition, beauty and home to the big five. It is here that one of the most spectacular phenomena of natural world take place – The great annual wildebeests migration, an occurrence that has been named as one of the seven wonders of the world by a jury of experts polled by ABC TV of the USA. The great migration involves an estimated 1.3 million wildebeests, 200,000 zebras and a multitude of gazelles escorted by a good number of carnivores. The action happens between July and October.
