After early breakfast, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake + Nathula by 8 am . Tsomgo or “Source of water ” derives its water from the melting snows of the surrounding mountain making it magical throughout the year .In the summertime the hills are awash with blooming flowers , in winter it’s stunning snowfields .Tsomgo lake is a stopover for migratory duck , including Brahmini ducks .Tsomgo lake is located at 12,400 ft , the lake is 1 km long , oval in shape and 50ft deep .Fishing or dirtying the lake is prohibited , Spend your time playing in the snow , take a Yak ride or don the traditional Sikkimese garbs . Nathula Located at 14,400-ft links India with the Tibet Autonomous Region of China , from Nathu-la Lhasa is 525 km away . Nathu-la is 43Kms from Gangtok and takes approximately 3 Hrs one way. After a action packed fun day you return back to Your Hotel in Gangtok . Evening at leisure at MG road , the main street in Gangtok is litter free, spit free and traffic free, here one can either sit at Titanic park or on various benches stretched across the mall .
