A journey to the land known as the” Abode of Clouds” to experience the picturesque hills, cascading waterfalls, Age old Caves, Sacred Forest, Living Root Bridges and many more. Trip includes stay at Shillong, Cherapunji, exploring the caves, trekking to a remote village to witness the “Living Root bridge”, Village Tour, boating in the crystal-clear river water.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Guwahati to Shillong

Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport then we will head to the ‘Scotland of the East’, Shillong. We will stop by the serene Umiam Lake view point for sightseeing. In the evening we may choose to visit Police Bazar to enjoy shopping and to try out the local delicacies.
Night stay in Shillong.

Note: One can enjoy Speed boating in the Umiam Lake- Additional Cost applicable

Day 2 : Shillong to Cherrapunjee

After breakfast we will set out to explore Cherrapunjee. On the way we will stop by Mawkdok Viewpoint. In Cherrapunjee we will visit the Garden of Caves, Arwah Cave, Seven Sister Falls, and the magnificent Nohkalikai falls. Night stay will be in Cherrapunjee.

Note: One can enjoy Ziplining at the Mawkdok Dympep viewpoint - Additional Cost applicable

Day 3 : Mawlynnong,Dawki

Post breakfast we will drive to Mawlynnong, Cleanest village in Asia. We will explore the village, balancing Rock of Mawlynnong, and visit the Church of Epiphany. We may choose to explore the Single Decker Living Root Bridge which is just 15 minutes’ walk.Thereafter, we will head to Dawki/ Shnongpdeng to experience boating in the Crystal Clear water of river Umngot.
Night stay in Shillong.

Note: One may enjoy Water sports like Snorkelling, Scuba diving or Cliff jumping- Additional Cost applicable

Day 4 : Shillong to Guwahati

Payment Terms & Methods : Payment Policy

60 percent of the Total Package Cost has to be paid in advance to book the Trip
Remaining 40 percent has to be paid 15 days prior to the Trip Starts.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, and we want to make sure our customers are aware of our cancellation policy. The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings made with “The Unexplored”.
Cancellation by the customer:
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. The cancellation fees will vary depending on the type of booking, and the time frame in which the cancellation is made. The following cancellation fees will apply:
Cancellation more than 45 days before tour: 10 % of the total booking cost
Cancellation between 44-30 days before tour: 25% of the total booking cost
Cancellation between 29-15 days before tour: 50% of the total booking cost
Cancellation between 14-7 days before tour: 75% of the total booking cost
Cancellation less than 7 days before tour: 100% of the total booking cost
Cancellation by “The Unexplored” : We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time, in that case we will provide a full refund to the customer.
Changes to Bookings: If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that additional fees may apply.
Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notification. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment, and any applicable fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
We strongly recommend that all customers purchase travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, illness, or other events that may impact your travel plans.
