Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Dehradun → Guptkashi / Sonprayag (drive)

Devprayag

Day 1 — Dehradun → Guptkashi / Sonprayag (Drive) 🚗 Start early from Dehradun (approx. 6 AM ideally). Route: Dehradun → Rishikesh → Devprayag → Srinagar → Rudraprayag → Guptkashi / Sonprayag. 🕐 Travel time: ~8–9 hours by road to Sonprayag / Guptkashi (around 240–250 km). Travel Vaidya 🌙 Stay overnight in Guptkashi or Sonprayag — these are good stopping points with guesthouses and hotels. Why stop here? This breaks up the long drive and positions you close for the next day’s early trek start.

Day 2 Sonprayag → Gaurikund → Trek To Kedarnath

🚐 Morning shuttle from Sonprayag → Gaurikund (last motorable point). 🥾 Trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath: ~16 km uphill (takes ~7–9 hours). 🐴 Alternate options: Pony, palki (doli), or helicopter. 🌙 Stay overnight in Kedarnath or nearby dharamshala.

Day 3 Darshan & Return Trek

Kedarnath Temple

🙏 Early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple. 🥾 Begin trek back to Gaurikund after darshan. 🚐 Travel back to Sonprayag/Guptkashi and stay overnight.

Day 4 Return To Dehradun

🚗 Depart early from Guptkashi/Sonprayag → Dehradun. 🕐 Reach by evening (8–9 hours drive).
