As you move to Kanatal, get a chance to explore the exotic Himalayan species on your forest trail through the Kaudia forest and stay close to nature by camping under the star-lit sky by the warmth of a bonfire. Close to Kanatal is one of the highest dams in India – Tehri Dam which is a perfect place to indulge in thrilling water activities like jet skis and much more. Soak in the spiritual aura at the world-famous evening Ganga Aarti in Har ki Pauri and learn why Haridwar is the most popular pilgrim destination in North India by visiting and listening to the stories of the temples established in Haridwar.
Rishikesh
Upon arrival in Rishikesh after an overnight journey, check-in to the camps and take some rest.
Here, you can indulge in various recreational activities at the campsite like playing volleyball, softball, and badminton.
Later you can head out for a thrilling rafting session and get face to face with the thrilling rapids of the river Ganga.
Once you are done rafting through the cold waters of Ganga, you can also try your hands on cliff jumping and bodysurfing.
On reaching Laxman Jhula, facing another round of rapids, you can return back to the campsite to dry up and head out again to explore the bustling Rishikesh.
Later, one can choose to explore the different parts of Rishikesh like the iconic Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula or go shopping in the local markets in the surrounding areas.
You can also spend some time by the river beach or go café hopping in the vibrant cafes that line the banks of Ganga.
Don’t forget to feel the spiritual vibes during the holy Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh which will add up to your lively evening.
After a day filled with adventure and excitement, head back to your campsite where you can enjoy evening snacks with a bonfire and light music.
