Day 1

Day 1: Lusaka - South Luangwa National Park - Afternoon Game Drive

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport, you will connect to a scheduled domestic flight to Mfuwe, the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. On landing, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional safari guide and transferred to Kafunta River Lodge, an exclusive luxury lodge set inside the park, with opportunities for wildlife sightings en route. Kafunta River Lodge offers spacious en-suite chalets overlooking the Luangwa River, refined comfort, exceptional service, and highly experienced guides. After check-in, guests enjoy a leisurely lunch with river views, followed by time to relax and unwind after the journey. In the late afternoon, the safari experience begins with a guided game drive in South Luangwa National Park, renowned for its rich wildlife density and pristine wilderness. Day 2: South Luangwa Np: Walking Safari & Afternoon Game Drive

The day begins early with tea or coffee before setting out on a guided walking safari—South Luangwa National Park’s signature experience and one of Zambia’s most celebrated safari highlights. Accompanied by an expert professional guide and armed scout, guests explore the bush on foot, learning to interpret animal tracks, identify plants and insects, and recognize bird calls, gaining a deeper appreciation of the ecosystem. This intimate encounter offers a rare and immersive perspective of the African wilderness. After the walk, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast, followed by leisure time to relax, swim, or enjoy wildlife viewing from camp. Lunch is served at the lodge, with time to rest during the heat of the day. In the late afternoon, head out on a game drive as temperatures cool, focusing on predators such as lions and leopards, which are frequently sighted in the area. Day 3

Day 3: Morning & Afternoon Game Viewing. Optional Night Safari

Following an early breakfast, guests depart on a sunrise game drive—one of the best times to encounter predators returning from nocturnal hunts. South Luangwa is renowned for excellent leopard sightings, as well as large herds of elephant and buffalo along the Luangwa River. A picnic breakfast may be enjoyed at a scenic spot within the park before continuing with game viewing. Late morning and midday are spent back at the lodge at leisure, with time to relax and enjoy lunch overlooking the river or nearby waterholes frequented by hippos and abundant birdlife. In the late afternoon, guests set out on another game drive, exploring different areas of the park and soaking up the golden light of sunset. Day 4: South Luangwa Np-final Safari & Departure To Lusaka

After check-out, a scheduled transfer takes guests to Mfuwe Airstrip for the domestic flight back to Lusaka. • Taxes, park fees, concession fees, VAT exemptions, and other taxes are based in Oﬃcial Government legislation at booking time. Should any of these be changed by the Government of Tanzania, Go Extra Mile Safaris of Tanzania reserves the right to amend the rates accordingly.
• If accommodation is full at the time of the booking, comparable alternatives will be suggested (according to availability)
• Transport on safari is provided in 4-wheel-drive vehicles. City and other similar transfers may be provided in minivans. The company reserves the right to employ the services of subcontractors where necessary.
Booking Terms & Conditions:
• To confirm our clients' reservation, Go Extra Mile Safaris requires a 25% deposit payment at the time of making your booking. Failure to do so will result in your reservation automatically being canceled.
• The balance of payment is due 8 weeks (60 days) before the commencement date of your itinerary. Bookings made within 8 weeks (60 days) before departure are subject to full prepayment at the time of confirming the reservation.
• Please note that should you have been quoted in foreign currency and wish to settle payment using a credit card, your quotation will be converted to Tanzanian Shillings before the transaction is processed due to foreign exchange regulations by the Bank of Tanzania. The rate of exchange on the day that the transaction is processed will be used to determine the equivalent Shilling amount, with any resulting foreign exchange differences or bank charges being for the client's account. The Bank of Tanzania prohibits Tanzanian companies from taking foreign credit card payments and keeping the payment in foreign currency. The payment has to be converted to Tanzanian shillings before it is credited to the recipient. Clients are welcome to settle payment employing a bank transfer - in this instance, the amount will be converted by your bankers on presentation of our invoice.
• It is the client's responsibility to inform and instruct their bankers that the net invoice amount must equal the funds clearing into the Go Extra Mile Safaris bank account and that ALL bank charges are to be borne by the client's account.

• 20% penalty if you cancel between 30 and 60 days earlier

• a 75% penalty if you cancel with 7 to 14 days' notice,
• a penalty of 100% if you cancel with less than a week's notice
